- The application period to apply is from October 1 to November 30th, 2011
- We are waiting to hear from the CSU Chancellor's Office when the application period will open.

Thank you for your interest in the B.S. Fire Protection Administration program. Since the Fire Protection Administration program is designed primarily for transfer students, it is recommended that you make an appointment with the advisor, Dr. Ray Shackelford. The purpose of the appointment is to find out where you are in your community college program, and advise you how to transfer to Cal State L.A. in the most efficient manner. We're here to help you plan accordingly so that you will meet both the CSU entrance requirements (undergraduate transfer) and requirements for the major at your community college. It's not uncommon to meet with potential transfer students six to twelve months ahead of time prior to transfer. Planning ahead of time will save you time, money and make the transition much smoother.
