Last academic year, we formed a committee that produced a strategic plan that began to address the future of the college. That planning committee included NSS faculty, staff, students, alumni and NSS stakeholders. The committee along with the support of Academic Leadership Associates (a consulting firm) met to develop a plan along these six domains:
- Mission and Values
- People
- Scholarship
- Education Programs
- External Relations
- Internal Operations
We are now at the stage where we need to complete and implement the strategic plan. We would like to make this as inclusive and transparent a process as before. We are asking you to self-nominate to be one of nine individuals selected for NSS Completion Team. The team's overall goal is to apply rigorous inquiry, effective collaboration, and a continuous improvement mindset to increase student success rates in accordance to the NSS strategic plan. The team will have the benefit of an external coach to support the team with inquiry, project management, and effective team meetings. Meetings will begin in January 2019.
