Flipping the classroom will allow more opportunities to work directly with students. I find that this is much more rewarding for students and instructor alike.
I've incorporated active learning and project-based learning components into my classes. Previous and current curriculum improvement projects include peer mentoring programs and our NSF-funded SUCCEEd program for the second year core in engineering.
