College of Natural and Social Sciences

The mission of the College of Natural and Social Sciences is to create educational experiences for students that utilize and create knowledge that is culturally responsive and inclusive and to facilitate the development of the next generation of leaders in academic centers, industry, local, regional and national government. 

The College is a diverse blend of 15 departments and interdisciplinary programs that serve nearly 6,000 undergraduate majors and over 800 graduate students. We strongly support multidisciplinary approaches to twenty-first century issues, from local to global, while seeking to inspire in our students a life-long commitment to learning and to the betterment of our communities and environment.
