Provided on this web page are the documents related to the various programs offered by the Department of Biological Sciences. The program forms list all the requirements for the degree. You and your advisor can use these to track your progress towards graduation. A similar form is provided for the general education requirements. There are also documents that list the approved upper electives for biology and microbiology majors. All of these documents are for informational purposes only. You should still see a faculty member for academic advisement. You can make an appointment with any of the full-time faculty members through the Biological Sciences Department Office in person or over the phone. Additionally, the form below can be used to create an Academic Plan in consultation with your advisor.

Natural Science Majors with a Biology Emphasis
The Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science is designed to prepare students to teach science at the middle school or high school level. Two options are available: Traditional (option I) or Blended (option II). For either option a student can choose a subject matter emphasis in one of the following: biology, chemistry, geoscience, or physics. As a convenience, the program forms for the traditional and blended options with an emphasis in biology are provided below. However, the BS Degree in Natural Science is not a program offered by the Department of Biological Sciences.
