Get Involved with the Department
The anthropology department offers a variety of ways for its students to get involved on campus. Here are a few of the different organizations associated with the department, but open to students campus-wide:
Society for Biological Anthropology (SBA)
The Society for Biological Anthropology (SBA) is a student run organization under the Anthropology department at the California State University of Los Angeles. The SBA functions as a educational source to those interested in Biological Anthropology by hosting events for students/faculty and fundraisers to support the Biological Anthropology lab on campus. The society commonly meets once a month and is open to CSULA students to join.

Forensic Science Student Association (FSSA)
The Forensic Science Student Association was formed in the Spring of 2014 with the intent to bring together students across various majors at Cal State LA and inform them of the possibilities of working in the field of forensic science.
We wish to encourage interdisciplinary collaboration in forensic research and invite students from various departments to participate in this student organization. Get in on the ground floor and affect change at your university.

Lambda Alpha Honors Society
