Hae Kyung Lee, Outstanding Professor (1998) teaches modern technique and choreography. She is an Internationally-acclaimed/ award- winning choreographer. Hae Kyung Lee and Dancers has been invited to perform at International festivals throughout Europe, Asia, and The United States. Recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, U.S. Artists at International Festivals, the California Arts Council, (COLA) City of Los Angeles Individual Artist Fellowship from Cultural Affairs Grant, the Los Angeles County Arts Commission, Department of Cultural Affairs City of Los Angeles, the James Irvine Foundation California DanceMaker Choreography Fellowship, the National State County Partnership, The Durfee Foundation Grant, and the National Endowment for the Arts Choreography Fellowship.
