University-Student Union
The student union is the heart of student life and activity. The three-story building houses the offices for student government, meeting places for clubs and organizations, and all kinds of campus events. It's just a cool place to hang out!
I visit the student union to workout in the fitness center and to meet up with friends. Some of my favorite things to do are to attend film-screenings in the theater or listen to the live concerts and performances just outside on the stage. In fact, when the U-SU had its grand opening ceremony in January 2009, hundreds turned out for an evening of performances. It culminated with a show by the Grammy-nominated hip hop singer Estelle. It was quite the evening!
