Cal State L.A. Faculty Member Leads Panel Discussion on Refugee Issues What & Who:
Cal State L.A.'s associate professor of Anthropology Swan Ngin will lead a panel discussion on refugee issues as part of The Nannette Brodie Dance Theater performance entitled Ãmigré, a dance theatre piece created for six dancers based on the lives, images and stories of refugees. Dr. Ngin specializes in Asian and Asian-American studies, comparative ethnic studies and Southeast Asia. Her research interests includes postmodernist, "borderland" and "gendered" perspectives, oral history and ethnographic studies. Reception to follow the presentation in the lobby of the theater. When:
