Cal State L.A. Expert on
the West Coast Port Lockout

Los Angeles, CA – Today marks the second week of the West Coast port lockout with a large number of cargo vessels stranded at docks or backing up at anchor points. President Bush signed an executive order stating that “continuation of this lockout will imperil the national health and safety” and formed a panel, which must report back to President Bush by Tuesday. Cal State L.A. political science professor Jaime Regalado is available to offer his expertise on the union strike and possible solutions to this labor dispute.
