Cal State L.A. Celebrates Homecoming 2002

What & Who:
California State University, Los Angeles presents “Catch the Spirit,” a week of fun-filled activities in celebration of Homecoming 2002. Cal State L.A. alumni, students, faculty and staff are invited to join the festivities.

Events:
Mon., Feb. 4
Student Organization Games. 12 noon-2 p.m., Free Speech Area.
Billiards Night at the Pit. 6-9 p.m., The Pit, University-Student Union Basement.

Tue., Feb. 5
Student Organization & Activities Expo. 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Main Walkway.

Fri., Feb. 8
Mardi Gras. 7 p.m.-1 a.m., University-Student Union. A night full of games, casino style “gambling,” and great prizes. Mardi Gras packs contain casino play money and are free to Cal State L.A. students, alumni, faculty and staff with valid I.D. Non-Cal State L.A. students can purchase play packs for $5. Sat., Feb. 9
Alumni Games. Baseball: 1-4 p.m., Reeder Field; Volleyball: 2-4 p.m., Eagles Nest; Men’s and Women’s Tennis: 1-4 p.m., Cal State L.A. Tennis Complex; Men’s and Women’s Soccer: 1-4 p.m., Jesse Owens Stadium; Alumni BBQ: 4:30-5:30 p.m., Pool Area.
Doubleheader Games. 5:30 p.m.-CSULA’s women’s basketball vs. Cal Poly Pomona; 7:30 p.m.-CSULA’s men’s basketball vs. Cal Poly Pomona. Cal State L.A. Eagles Nest Gym.
Homecoming Spirit Dance. 10 p.m., University-Student Union.

Where:
Cal State L.A. is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys. Public (ticket dispenser) parking is available in Lot C, Lot G, or the top level of North Parking Structure II.
