as Part of its 50th Anniversary Celebration

What & Who:
Cal State L.A. celebrates Homecoming 1998, as part of the campus' 50th anniversary celebration, by hosting a week of fun-filled festivities.

Events:

Tue., Feb. 10
Kick-Off Event. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Union Walkway. Featuring music, games, prizes, and a chnage 50th anniversary celebration barbecue.
Homecoming Happy Hour. 4-9 p.m. Baby Doe's Restaurant, Monterey Park.

Wed., Feb. 11
Club Fair., 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Union Walkway. Featuring music, food, prizes, and more.
Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremonies and Reunion Celebration. 6 p.m. Tower Restaurant, Transamerica Building.

Thu., Feb. 12
Clubs and Organization Activities. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Union Walkway.

Fri., Feb. 13
Mardi Gras. 6-10 p.m. Program Area, 2nd floor, University-Student Union.
Pep Rally. 7 p.m. University-Student Union. Meet the Golden Eagle Basketball Teams.

Sat., Feb. 14
Doubleheader Games. 5:30 p.m.-CSLA's women's basketball vs. Cal Poly Pomona; 7:30 p.m.-CSLA's men's basketball vs. CS Bakersfield. P.E. Gym.
Athletics/Alumni VIP Reception. 5:30 p.m. P.E. Gym.
50th Anniversary Reception. 6:30 p.m. Athletics Hall of Fame Room, PE 116.
Homecoming "After" Party. 10:30 p.m.-1 a.m. Program Area, U-SU.

Where:
Cal State L.A. The University is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Fwys. Public (ticket dispenser) parking is available in Lot C, Lot G, or the top level of North Parking Structure II.

More:
The Eagles' Pride Awards, given in lieu of the traditional Homecoming king and queen crowns, will be presented during Homecoming week. The awards are given annually to one male and one female who exemplify the University pride and spirit through achievements, leadership and involvement, and scholastic success.
