Cal State L.A. Hosts 2nd Annual
Reception Honoring CSULA Women

What:
The Cross Cultural Centers at California State University, Los Angeles will honor 10 Cal State L.A. female faculty and staff for their recent academic accomplishments as well as other special achievements. During the reception, a special Remarkable Woman Award will also be presented to Margaret Hartman, provost and vice president for academic affairs at Cal State L.A.

When:
Thursday, May 18, 2000, 3-4:30 p.m.

Where:
Cal State L.A. University-Student Union, Alumni Lounge. The University is located at the Eastern Ave. exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Fwy., at the interchange of 10 and 710 Fwys. Public permit dispenser parking available in Lots C and G, or the upper level of North Parking Structure II.

The Distinguished Woman Award recipients include: Marjorie Bray, coordinator, Latin American Studies; Mika Cho, associate professor, Art; Christine Dosland, sergeant, Campus Police; Janet Fisher-Hoult, professor, Charter School of Education; Judith Hamera, chair, Communication Studies Department; Joanna Harmon, health educator, Student Health Center; Andrea Maxie, associate professor, Curriculum and Instruction; Mary Diaz, counselor, Student Health Center; and Rosemarie Marshall, professor, Biology and Microbiology.
