This talk will be an updated version of a highly successful talk Dr. Simon gave at Caltech. Popularized by Drosnin's 1997 bestseller, The Bible Code, the theory is largely based on the work of an Israeli group that motivated Drosnin. The Bible codes proponents claim that the book of Genesis contains encoded information about events that took place long after Genesis was created. Dr. Simon will explain how the phenomenon can be entirely explained by understanding the wiggle room in the procedures. Info:
