What & Who:
The Pan African Student Resource Center (PASRC) and the Cross Cultural Centers Office at California State University, Los Angeles will host a month of events to celebrate Black History Month 2000.

Black History Month Kick-off: Tue., Feb. 1, 12 noon-2 p.m. Free Speech Area.

"Waiting to Exhale (or a Black People in White Minds)": (Reading) Tue., Feb. 1, 4:30 p.m. Café LA, University-Student Union.

African Dance Workshop: Thu., Feb. 3, 7 p.m. Housing Phase II Lounge.

"Exploring Blackness": (Workshop) Tue., Feb. 8, 3 p.m. PASRC, University-Student Union.

"Black Man Emerging"-A Lecture by Joseph White: Wed., Feb. 9, 4:30 p.m. Los Angeles Room, University-Student Union.

Cal State L.A. is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (I-10) Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 Freeways. Public (ticket dispenser) parking is available in Lot C, Lot G or the top level of North Parking Structure II.
