The Golden Eagles have been ranked as high as 16th in the country this year and last appeared in the AVCA Top 25 on September 24 (ranked No. 23).

Cal State L.A. has won six-straight matches and 11 of its last 12 matches, improving to 19-8 overall and third in the CCAA at 15-5 in league play.
