Note: Title IX is federal law which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex. Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination. It is unwelcome sexual conduct which limits a student's access to or participation in a school's educational program. Sexual violence, in its many forms, dating/domestic violence, and sexually motivated stalking are crimes which are also extreme forms of sexual harassment/sex discrimination.
