The Center for the Study of Genders and Sexualities celebrates its faculty and student scholars and discusses funding and presentation opportunities for students studying gender and sexuality. Additionally, art faculty member Sarah Beeby will present on the following: In the 19th century, Oscar Wilde said, "Everything in life is about sex, except sex, sex is about power." Bloom is an animated docu-fiction that explores the contemporary relevance of this quote by following one woman’s experiences with, and conversations about, the nature of human sexual desire.

Come out and show your University spirit at the Homecoming Alumni Reception and basketball games. The reception will begin at 4:30 p.m. in the University Club before the Golden Eagles men's and women's basketball teams both face Stanislaus State in the University Gymnasium. The women's game starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at 7:30 p.m.

Show your Golden Eagle spirt for Homecoming 2018! With free food, prize drawings, big giveaways and live performances, the gym will transform into a large-scale spirit station. The women's basketball game begins at 5:30 p.m. and the men's will follow at 7:30 p.m.
