The 2016 Anthony J. Andreoli-Geraldine P. Woods Lecturer is Dr. Clifton Poodry, Professor of Biology, Senior Fellow for Science Education, Howard Hughes Medical Institute.

Africa’s most internationally celebrated female musician, Angelique Kidjo is a powerful singer and tireless performer. Her music draws from African traditions and elements of American soul, funk, rap, jazz, Brazilian samba, reggae, and Cuban and Puerto Rican salsa creating a perfect blend of world music that exemplifies unity, peace and diversity. Angelique Kidjo will perform selections from her latest albums and prolific repertoire.
