In collaboration with the One Campus, One Book Committee and its 2013-14 selection, The Laramie Project, we’re screening the film version, which tells the story of the aftermath of the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyoming. Directed by Moises Kaufman, 2002, 97 minutes.

The Westside is closer than you think.  At the Museum of Tolerance you will be challenged to think beyond the walls of ordinary museums, explore human nature, and challenge prejudice and discrimination.  After the museum, we will go to the Original Farmer’s Market/The Grove where you can see the best of old and new L.A.  Tickets are $5 for this event and can be purchased at the U-SU in Room 306, from Thursday April 3 – Wednesday, April 23.  All participants must use transportation provided by the U-SU to and from the trip location. Funded by the Student Success Fee.

Dean's List honorees, recipients of scholarships and grants, as well as honor societies and Honors College participants will be honored at the program. In addition, new freshmen will be recognized for having entered the University with a 3.5 GPA or higher on their high school records.
