Cal State L.A.’s Art History Society presents the 2015 Mesoamerican Symposium, entitled “In the Realm of the Vision Serpent: Decipherments and Discoveries in Mesoamerica,” which will feature highly regarded keynote speakers and prominent experts. The symposium is dedicated to the life and work of renowned scholar of Maya art and writing Linda Schele. She was at the forefront of the decoding of Maya hieroglyphics and made lasting contributions to the evolution of that field.
The symposium aims to serve as a platform for connections for future projects and also to provide speakers with an engaging audience. There will be various working professionals as well as students giving talks regarding the field of forensic.
