Taking notes from lectures may present many challenges for college students: not having an organized system for taking notes, not being able to keep up with the instructor, not knowing what to write down, and not having an effective and efficient means to study the lecture notes. In particular, Dr. Mattheis and her co-researchers seek to answer a question that is more than just “what do scientists think about being queer?” or “how many queer scientists are there?”
