Does your organization have effective ways of recruiting new members? Come to the Organization Development Meeting to receive tips and ideas for recruiting this semester. One representative from each organization must attend at least one meeting to maintain University recognition. Check in starts 30 minutes prior to the meeting time.

Based on indigenous and ancestral ways of relating with each other, these circles allow groups and individuals to open up to each other and to the sacred within us all. The circle encourages dialogue, respect, sharing, and learning among members of a group and values the interconnected culture, teachings and knowledge of all, especially that of indigenous ways.

One Campus, One Book (OCOB) is a University initiative designed to encourage a common reading experience and sense of community at Cal State LA. The 2016-17 selection is Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion by Father Greg Boyle. Arranged by theme and filled with sparkling humor and glowing generosity, these essays offer a stirring look at how full our lives could be if we could find the joy in loving others and in being loved unconditionally.
