Ruben Salazar: Man in the Middle examines the life and mysterious death of pioneering journalist Ruben Salazar. At the heart of the story is Salazar’s transformation from a mainstream, establishment reporter to primary chronicler and supporter of the radical Chican@ Movement of the late 1960s. Following the film screening and Q&A with Ruben Salazar’s family and the filmmaker, there will be a reception with light refreshments in the Los Angeles Room, 3rd floor, Student Union, starting at 4:30 p.m. Directed by Phillip Rodriguez, 2014, 53 minutes.
