LEAD Series are workshops designed for students to cultivate leadership, enrichment, advocacy, and personal development. There will be 6 workshops each semester, a total of 12 workshops for the academic year. Each workshop will provide free food for students!

Johnson, former executive at The Syfy Channel turned CEO + Head Consultant of The Professional Pen, a script consultancy, this session introduces you to the structure of the film and television industry, breaking down how projects move from idea to screen and the people responsible at each stage. You will gain a clear understanding of creative and business roles, how they work together throughout the development and production process, and how to break in.
This workshop is designed to introduce participants to regression analysis using IBM SPSS 29. This workshop will cover simple regression, multiple regression, scatter plots, predicting values of dependent variables, data transformation, polynomial regression, and chart editing. Participants will learn how to answer research questions, test hypotheses, identify relationships between dependent and independent variables, and use regression models to make predictions based on sample data.
Program Automations that can get a bit quirky! From ordering a Starbucks drink to automatically sending emails, this workshop will feature Apple’s Shortcut App. This workshop is designed to introduce participants to Shortcuts and Automations to fit their needs. Participants will learn how to make basic shortcuts, automations, and how to add a shortcut as a widget.
Learn how to recognize the warning signs of unhealthy relationships and safely support a friend. Presented in partnership with the Jenesse Center during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
