Donors will receive free snack and a limited-edition T-shirt plus a gift card from Amazon. This blood drive is organized in partnership with Cedars-Sinai and the Patricia A. Chin School of Nursing. 

When donating, be sure to:

  • Bring a photo ID
  • Be in good health
  • Weigh at least 110 pounds
  • Eat a good meal
  • Drink extra water
  • Be at least 17 years old

* A 16 year old may donate if they have a signed parent consent form and weigh at least 135 pounds

As part of Second Chance Month, Cal State LA’s Prison Graduation Initiative (PGI) will host a special screening of The People in Blue on Thursday, April 9, at 8 p.m. in the Luckman Theatre. Directed by Louis Sāle and produced by a crew of incarcerated filmmakers, The People in Blue was a curated selection of the second annual San Quentin Film Festival. This screening marks a historic milestone, as it will be the first time the film will be presented outside of a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation facility.
