This Black History Month virtual series is hosted by the Department of Pan-African Studies at Cal State LA.

Through interactive activities and real examples, participants will learn practical ways to understand diverse perspectives, avoid cultural assumptions, and uplift the voices of others. This session will help students grow as leaders who listen first, act with care, and create welcoming environments wherever they go.

Join the GSRC and CAPS as we create a safe space for LGBTQIA+ folks to be in conversations topics that impact, move, and motivate folks in the LGBTQIA+ Community. The group will be facilitated by Queer-identified CAPS counselors. At each session, we will participate in fun craft activities while we discuss topics about the experiences of our community.
