The Student Health Center will lead a workshop for the community to intentionally pause, heal, and connect with their heritage as a source of well-being, framed around the concepts of cuidados personales (personal care) and bienestar (wellness).
Join us as we have conversations on exploring finding your voice, self-expression, and navigating expectations. We’ll explore our roots and cultivate community through open dialogue, fun activities, and food. All are welcome.
Join our plática with Profes Letty Terrones, Azalea Camacho, and Katie Perry as we explore the role of librarians as professors and faculty on campus and what that means for students.
Ready to create spaces where everyone feels included? This workshop helps you identify unconscious biases, challenge assumptions, and practice inclusive behaviors in everyday interactions. Through interactive activities and real-life examples, you’ll gain tools to foster understanding, respect, and belonging. Step in, speak up, and lead the way in making your community welcome for all!
Each undergraduate participant will have one slide and three minutes to present their research to a panel of judges. It’s a great way for undergraduates presenting at the Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities Symposium to prepare for their presentations.
- Two Tracks: 1) STEM; 2) Humanities + Social Sciences
- Prizes awarded for top 3 winners in each track
