Learning Outcome 1: Developing Wellness and Service Programs
As a result of participating in the Developing Wellness and Service Programs (DWSP), Cal State LA student organization leaders will increase their ability to implement wellness and service programs as measured by pre and post surveys and individual interviews with student organization leaders who participate in DWSP.
Assessment Measures
This will be assessed through pre and post surveys with the student organization leaders followed up with a 1:1 interview. The outcomes will be assessed with two methods: quantitative evaluation surveys (pre & post) will measure student leaders’ ability and knowledge to coordinate events related to wellness and service. Qualitative one-on-one interviews will measure the student leaders’ experience in DWSP and gather additional information to enhance DWSP in the future.
Assessment Data Collection Plan
Pre and post surveys will be implemented at the beginning and end of the student leaders’ participation in the program. One-on-one interviews with student organization leaders who receive support will meet with the coordinator two weeks after the event.
