Somak’s teaching interests are in Business Statistics, Marketing Research and Marketing Analytics. Somak has taught courses on Principles of Marketing, Business Statistics, Marketing Research and Marketing Strategy (capstone course for marketing major undergraduates students).
Somak’s research interests fall under the broad domain of behavioral research and specifically in the sub domains of behavioral signaling, behavioral pricing and responsible consumption practices. His research has been presented/accepted in international conferences like AMA, AMS, AIB, etc. His research has also been recently published in a top tier marketing journal: Journal of Marketing Research.
