Steve McGuire is Professor of Management in the College of Business and Economics.

Steve is a recipient of both the College of Business & Economics Outstanding Teacher Award and the University Outstanding Professor Award, as well as a Faculty Mentor Award for his work with students to complete, present and publish research. He previously taught at Georgetown University, Catholic University of Portugal, Moscow University Touro, American University in Bulgaria, De La Salle-College of St. Benilde in Manila, and The George Washington University, where he was awarded the Bender Prize for Teaching Excellence.  He earned a BA from Providence College, an MBA from IESE Business School (Barcelona), and a Ph.D. from The George Washington University. He also studied at the Sorbonne (Paris), University of Coimbra (Coimbra, Portugal), and Southern Connecticut State University (New Haven).
 
Steve is a former partner of the HayGroup, where he worked as a management consultant for major organizations in 23 countries, CEO of HayGroup Portugal, and Director, Hay International Business Group. He is the author of Managing Organizational Change as well as several research articles and case studies, and the editor of the Journal of Case Research and Inquiry.
