Professor Moss is a design educator, strategist and consultant, based in Los Angeles. He is currently an Associate Professor of Graphic Design/Visual Communication in the Department of Art at California State University, Los Angeles. In 2012 Jimmy completed a term as president of AIGA Los Angeles, where he was the first full-time educator elected president in 25 years. He now serves as a visiting evaluator conducting accreditation reviews for NASAD. He has been a guest critic, curator, juror or lecturer at Loyola Marymount University, Stanford University, Otis College of Art and Design, Woodbury University, Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Northridge, San Francisco Art Institute, and the Academy of Art University. 

He directed strategic design services, advertising creative groups, and interactive product marketing for 17 years on behalf of both public and private companies for both the in-house and agency sides, before he chose a career in design education in 2005. Jimmy is a passionate advocate for the transformative role designers can play in socially responsible change.
