Introduction
Hello! I started as an assistant professor in the Department of Public Health in 2008 and I am now a professor in the department. I earned my M.P.H. in 2002 and my Ph.D. in 2005 from the University of Southern California’s Institute for Prevention Research. I have published articles and book chapters about the social influences of adolescent tobacco use, mental illness and drug use in transgender women, and the role of culture in addiction. When not working I love listening to music and exploring the city with her daughter, Zoey.
