For more than a quarter of a century, the Satellites & Education Conference has been the premier professional development event for educators who want to engage their students in effective, meaningful science, mathematics, engineering, and technology learning. This year's theme is "Earth Speaks -- We Listen!" Keynote speakers include Hal Walker, a retired laser scientist who had a role in the Apollo 11 mission; Todd Barber, a JPL senior propulsion engineer working as lead propulsion engineer on the Cassini mission to Saturn; Randii Wesson, the A-Team Lead Study Architect for JPL's Innovation Foundry; and Jeff Puschell, an internationally recognized expert in the system engineering of space-based imaging and remote sensing systems.
