Description

April 30, 1975 marked the end of the Vietnam War, the day that Saigon fell under Communist rule, and the darkest day in the history of Vietnam. Many Vietnamese overseas often use the term of “Black April” or “The Fall of Saigon” to describe April 30. The Fall of Saigon separated many families. Oh, Saigon is an autobiographical documentary about the separation of the director’s family and her attempt to reunite them. Directed by Doan Hoang, 2007, 57 minutes.
