World AIDS Day is recognized every December 1 around the world. But as more people live, thrive, and survive HIV and AIDS due to some medical developments, activism and attention toward the virus has decreased. Filmmaker and journalist Lisa Biagiotti shares how she’s using her art to bring attention to HIV and AIDS, the multiple communities affected, and activism that continues in many social justice circles.
