Event date and time
The University Library is excited to invite you to the opening reception of "The LA River: The Past, the Present, and the Future," an art exhibit that has been created in collaboration with the Los Angeles Times. The exhibit will feature original photographs of the L.A. River from the Los Angeles Times Archives spanning a hundred years.
Join us on April 10 for an opening reception. Cal State LA Department of History Chair and Professor Mark Wild will provide a brief overview of the history of the L.A. River. The exhibit will remain on view through May 1. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
This exhibition is curated by Choi Chatterjee, Sergio Maldonado, Jewelyn Mims and Mark Wild, and has been made possible by generous grants from Los Angeles Times and the University Library.
