Description
The California Association for Asian and Pacific American Education (CAAPAE) and CSU Asian Bilingual Teacher Education Program (CSU ABTEP) Consortium presents the 2019 Spring Institute to provide support and resources for educators serving students of diverse backgrounds and those who seek to become bilingual teachers in Spanish and Asian languages. There will be multiple workshops on bilingual methods, working with Asian parents, technology, UDL/MTSS and a keynote speech given by Shabnam Koirala-Azad, the dean of the School of Education and a professor of international and multicultural education at the University of San Francisco.
