First-ever Virgin College MegaTour Makes
its Southern California Debut at Cal State L.A.
MegaTour to Feature Michelle Branch, Gavin DeGraw,
Rooney, Joe Firstman and Others
California State University, Los Angeles, will be part of the first-ever Virgin College MegaTour, a national college music tour launched this spring by Virgin Megastores North America and Integrate Marketing. Complete with an interactive Village and an Evening Concert featuring some of todayÂs hottest new artists, the MegaTour will make a number of stops across the countryÂmaking its Southern California debut at Cal State L.A.
Saturday, April 10, 2004.
Village: 2:30-7 p.m., Free Speech Area.
Evening concert: 7 p.m., Luckman Theatre.
Cal State L.A. is located at the Eastern Avenue exit, San Bernardino (10) Freeway, at the interchange of the 10 and 710 freeways. Public permit dispenser parking is available in Lots A, C, F and G, or upper level of north Parking Structure II.
The Virgin College MegaTour includes a fun and interactive Village with special stage performances by Tyler Hilton and Chris Grace, as well as sponsor giveaways, activities and a music learning center. (The Village is free to the public.)
Grammy-winner Michelle Branch is headlining the 2004 Virgin College MegaTour, along with performances by acclaimed recording artists Gavin DeGraw, Rooney and Joe Firstman. (Concert tickets: CSULA students with ID, $15; other students with ID, $24; and general admission, $30)
