What is an Asynchronous Workshop?

CAPS' asynchronous workshops are not live activities. Students can complete these pre-designed workshops at any time.

Who is Eligible to Participate?

CAPS' asynchronous Canvas workshops are open to all eligible students.

How Do I Attend a Canvas Workshop?

Attendance is easy! To attend a Cavas workshop:

  • Click on the desired workshop link. This will take you to the workshop's Canvas course enrollment page.
  • Click on the "Enroll in Course" button located on the right side of the enrollment page.
    • If the workshop you have selected is ready to go, click on the "Go to Course" button to start the workshop.
    • If the workshop is still being prepared, you will receive an email notification when the workshop is ready.
  • Note: Each of the Canvas workshops you have enrolled in will appear on your Canvas Dashboard.

How Often Do Canvas Workshops Meet?

Each Canvas workshop is a single experience. That said, students can "attend" each workshop as many times as they would like while the workshop is available.
