Physical Sciences

Physical Sciences is where many of the courses in physics and astronomy, geology and chemistry meet. If you plan on pursing a degree in one the sciences or still need to complete general education requirements in the area, you will likely have a class or two here.

Students interested in science might also have a chance to be included in research involving the Fratiello Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) Laboratory. The machine is used to determine complex chemical structures and trace reactions in research focusing on DNA fragments, delivery of drugs to attachment sites and other topics.
