Spring Semester 2022

Spring Semester 2022 instruction term dates are January 24, 2022 through May 21, 2022.  We will begin accepting tuition and fees payments on October 11, 2021. A $25.00 late fee begins January 10, 2022 for continuing students, and January 24, 2022 for new and returning students.

Please note that all student tuition and fees are subject to change without notice.

The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after fees are initially charged or initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees.  All listed fees, other than mandatory systemwide fees, are subject to change without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun.  All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by the Board of Trustees, the Chancellor, or the Presidents, as appropriate.  Changes in mandatory systemwide fees will be made in accordance with the requirements of the Working Families Student Fee Transparency and Accountability Act (Sections 66028 - 66028.6 of the Education Code).

Tuition and Fees Procedure and Information

Tuition and fees payment is required before registering for classes unless a student is fully awarded financial aid grants, loans, or scholarships; is sponsored by a third party; or is participating in a payment plan. Incomplete or non-payment of tuition and fees may result in a hold being placed on the student's account, possible disenrollment from the current term, and forfeiture of tuition and fees already paid. Students may also become ineligible to participate in a payment plan for two consecutive terms.

Students who do not plan to attend any classes should drop all classes before the first day of instruction.  Students who drop all courses completely on the first day of the term and up to the 60% point will be charged a prorated fee based on the date of the drop. Please refer to the Refund Procedure and Regulation tab, also available on the Disbursement website.

It is the student's responsibility to drop classes, regardless of the reason, by the published deadlines to avoid charges or be eligible for a full or prorated refund.  Failure to track your enrollment and finances on your GET student account may result in charges and holds that will withhold permission to register for future terms and services offered by the institution from anyone owing fees.

Financial Aid Recipients

You may register for classes if financial aid has been awarded and authorized to cover your full tuition and fees, and your Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements are met. If your aid does not fully cover your tuition and fees, a payment for the difference must be made before you can register for classes. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at (323) 343-6260 with questions regarding your award.

If you are anticipating financial aid to pay your student tuition and fees, it is your responsibility to ensure the following:

  • Confirm that you have been awarded financial aid, and your aid is authorized to cover your tuition and fees. You can confirm by logging onto your GET account and viewing your Financial Aid Award.
  • If your aid awarded does not fully cover the tuition and fees, payment must be made for the difference before you can add classes.
  • To receive partial aid, you must be enrolled in at least half-time units (six units for undergraduate, four units for graduate). To receive your full-time financial aid disbursement, you must be enrolled in twelve units minimum for undergraduate and eight units minimum for graduate (subject to SAP requirement).
  • If your financial aid award is later canceled or changed due to a change in enrollment or eligibility, you are responsible for paying any outstanding charges.

Please visit the Student Financial Aid website for additional information.
