Disability-Related Counseling

Disability-related counseling allows OSD Disability Management Specialists/Counselors to support students who are registered with the Office for Students with Disabilities.

OSD Disability Management Specialists/Counselors provide individual disability-related advisement related to the impact of a student's disability on their academic, career, and personal needs. Recommendations and coordination of academic support services and strategies for independent learning are also strongly emphasized.

Academic Counseling

We encourage students to speak with their academic advisor for academic guidance and planning. However, your OSD Disability Management Specialist/Counselor may review your academic advisement plan as it relates to your disability-related needs and accommodations.

Meeting with your Disability Management Specialist/Counselor

Disability-related counseling is currently available by appointment or visiting with your Disability Management Specialist/Counselor during their virtual or in-person drop-in hours. Email [email protected] for appointment assistance.
