Welcome to the web page of the sociology club at California State University, Los Angeles!

Sociology studies a variety of subjects which include:
race relations, marriage, religion, child development, aging, demography, crime, corrections, occupations, mass communication, social deviance, politics,
social psychology, classical and contemporary sociological theories

The primary purpose of the academic program in sociology is to enhance students' analytical abilities and understanding of social phenomena.  The club was created for the purpose of providing students a place that is conducive to the discussion of sociological ideas.  The sociology club is also a place for students to network and have information about graduate schools, professional conferences, job opportunities, and mentoring relationships with colleagues and professors.

This page was redesigned by Dr. Gretchen Peterson.  Special thanks to Veronica for creating the original sociology club web page.
