In its effort to promote greater professionalism among its members and officers, The Hispanic Business Society has enacted the use Robert's Rules for self government and organization.
Robert's Rules is a successful set of rules widely adapted by may organizations. Originally Created by General Henry H. Robert, in 1876, for the purpose of bringing rules of the American Congress to members of ordinary society.
Today the Robert's Rules have been expanded to eight articles and over seventy-five sections. HBS primarily uses sections of Roberts Rule that pertains to how business should be conducted in deliberative assemblies. HBS, along with the use of the Robert's Rules, hopes to maintain a professional and orderly self government.
