Academic ITCs

Academic Information Technology Consultants (ITCs) are full-time staff who play a critical role as liaisons between University faculty and staff, Information Technology Services (ITS), and campus colleges in a wide range of areas related to the use of information technology and information security. Academic ITCs enhance teaching, learning, and administrative operations by providing high-quality instructional technology support to students, faculty, and staff. This includes workstation hardware and software support for faculty, staff, instructional labs, electronic classrooms (ECs), and technology-enhanced classrooms (TECs). ITCs also serve as technical advisors to faculty and staff on software and hardware relevant to the specific mission of the colleges they serve. They also assist in the ongoing training of faculty and academic staff.

Administrative ITCs

Administrative Information Technology Consultants (ITCs) are full-time staff who play a critical role as liaisons between University management and staff, Information Technology Services (ITS), and various campus entities in a wide range of areas related to the use of information technology and information security. Administrative ITCs enhance administrative operations by providing high-quality technical support, which includes hardware and software support of workstation operations, database support, logistical systems support and administrative automation support. They also serve as technical advisors to the departments they serve.
