Schedule a GRC Appointment

Due to the impact of COVID-19, all GRC appointments will be conducted using remote modalities (i.e., Zoom, phone, or email). All appointments must be scheduled 24 hours in advance.

WRITING CONSULTATION

To schedule a writing consultation, email [email protected] with the following information:

  • Name
  • CIN
  • Department
  • Dates/times during which you are available for a one-hour appointment 

Please attach a copy of the writing assignment and its instructions to the email request. A writing consultant will contact you via email to confirm your appointment time. Visit our Graduate Writing Support Program page for more information.

THESIS REVIEW (Only for students graduating Spring 2020/Summer 2020)

Prior to scheduling your thesis review appointment, please make sure that you have used the template and that you have completed one or two chapters.

To schedule a thesis review appointment, email [email protected] with the following information:

  • Name
  • CIN
  • Department
  • Style Manual (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.)
  • Dates/times during which you are available for a thirty-minute appointment 
  • A copy of your thesis draft (preferably as a Word file)

DISSERTATION REVIEW (Ed.D. and Ph.D. Students only)

To schedule a thesis review appointment, email Andrew Chavez, the GRC Coordinator, with the following information:

  • Name
  • CIN
  • Style Manual (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.)
  • Dates/times during which you are available for a thirty-minute appointment 

Andrew will email you to confirm your appointment time. At least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, email Andrew a copy of your dissertation as a Word file.

GENERAL ADVISING

Students may make appointments to meet with the GRC Coordinator for general advising on University policies, procedures, and resources. The GRC Coordinator will not accept appointment requests to discuss funding opportunities offered through the Office of Graduate Studies, program-specific academic requirements, or graduation requirements.
