Dreamers Scholarships Spring 2017

The Glazer Family Dreamers Resource Center at Cal State LA is proud to offer scholarships to students who are undocumented and demonstrate financial need as well as a commitment to their education and community. The scholarship reflects our investment in equal access to higher education by supporting students who are not eligible for federal financial aid programs. Students whose registration fees are not fully covered by the CA Dream Act will have priority.

Awards
- AB540 Dreamer Scholarships: 10 @ $250 each
- Dreamer Scholarships for Non AB540 students: 5 @ $500 each
Selection Criteria
You must meet all of the following requirements to be eligible:
- Must be a “Dreamer” student who is undocumented with or without DACA.
- AB540 or Non Resident undocumented student,
- Enrolled in school in California during K-12, adult school, or community college,
Who is not eligible:
- Students in possession of USCIS Nonimmigrant Visas and/or with legal status are not eligible for this scholarship.
- *Except for holders of U visas and TPS who are eligible.
- Demonstrated financial need based on 2016-2017 Financial Aid Award or Non-Resident undocumented student ineligible for AB540 or CA Dream Act.
- Undergraduate or Graduate student, minimum GPA of 2.0, completion of at least 6 units, currently enrolled in at least 6 units.
- Participation in leadership activities or community service at Cal State LA or in the student’s community.
