82% of Cal State LA students will be among the first in their family to earn a Bachelor's degree. The "First to Finish Symposium" is intended to bring our experience of being first generation, and our experience from working with first generation students, into a dialogue among students, faculty, and staff, creating a more formal network within our University community.
