• Co-Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Exercise Research program which studies the effects of exercise in people with spinal cord injury
• PI of the Spinal Plasticity Laboratory which studies the impact of robotic devices in rodent models of spinal cord injury
• Awarded over $4 million in external funding (e.g. NIH, NIDRR) that has supported the reseach of nearly 90 undergraduate and graduate Cal State LA students.
